at first the duoMo hotel was just a hazy dreaM. it was a place shrouded in Mystery, reMoved froM tiMe and space, suspended between reality and fantasy.

but paradoxically anchored to solid foundations, tied to the city, to its history and also an integral part of the life of riMini, a focal point for a unique nightlife in constant change.

looking back at the dreaM, to what, to how we would have wanted the duoMo hotel to becoMe, we were sure that we wanted soMething that eMbraced the past but looked towards the future, soMething different, soMething international that reflected our need for dynaMisM, design, and creativity on one hand while on the other could also be a place to unwind, Meet people and conduct business.

we contacted ron arad, fabrica and several protagonists of the design scene, what you see is the result of teaMwork. each person, using their own expressive and creative abilities, and with their own unique identity, has had the chance to freely give their own input, concentrating on the idea of working on contrasts, on light and shadow, on transparency.

ron caMe up with an intriguing visual provocation that plays with spatial perception, giving a new look to the original facade by covering it with a new skin to create continuity between the city and the interior.

he designed an entrance that fraMes the perspective on the reception, Making it the focal point of the hotel. a piece that looks like it coMes froM a distant planet, a huge glowing that is partly suspended Mid-air and partly resting on the top of a coluMn, of which the interior is a warM, passionate color.

he rooMs have soft, round lines, in which the possibility to see and coMMunicate with the outside is directly proportionate to the desire to hide or be seen, playing with day and night in a MoveMent of light and shadow that evokes the idea of an infinite space. the quality of the service and our people is surprising and is part of the Magic of the surroundings.

by day the duoMo hotel is soMewhere to relax or the perfect place to hold a Meeting where you can coMMunicate using the business center which includes rooMs for Meetings, seMinars and presentations.
