PART opens in Rimini
A few steps from duoMo hotel, in the central Cavour square of Rimini, two wonderful ancient buildings, Palazzo dell’Ardengo and Palazzo del Podestà, have been restored to their architectural splendor.
Inside stands PART, a masterpiece of Italian medieval art with an exceptional collection of contemporary art.
Beyond the courtly door, the Universal Judgment of 1300 by Giovanni da Riminisi and works by Damien Hirst, Mario Schifano, William Kentridge, Emilio Isgrò, Michelangelo Pistoletto and dozens of other masters of contemporary art.
Then there is the permanent collection of the San Patrignano Foundation.
PART is the result of the collaboration between the Municipality, owner of the Arengo and Podestà palaces, restored to give Rimini a large space for contemporary art, and the San Patrignano Foundation.
An eclectic and varied collection of important works from the 1900s and this century now accessible to citizens and visitors.
